Coconut Avocado Sunflower Seed Smoothie
Feed your skin, quench your body’s thirst, and get in some fiber! Coconut water has magnesium, phosphorus, calcium and potassium, a perfect blend to balance your electrolytes. Sunflower seeds are an excellent source of vitamin E, and phytochemicals which aid in anti-aging. Avocados are not only beneficial to eat because of the good fat they contain, they help your good HDL cholesterol level, help your heart, and their nutrients protect your body against cancer.
Makes 1 serving
- 1 cup chilled coconut water
- 1/4 avocado
- 2 tablespoons unsalted sunflower seeds
- 1/2 banana or 2 unpitted dates to sweeten (optional)
Place all ingredients in blender or food processor. Pulse on high until smooth. Drink immediately.
